The Dechnology team of Industrial Technology Research Institute ( ITRI ) partnered with the National Taiwan University research lab to create a system that will help innovators quickly make sense of massive data/knowledge in different domains.

The preliminary system relies on an ontology built based on real-case knowledge the team accumulated on the specific domain of aging society and technology and can extract meaningful data queried by the user, provide relevant research studies, and applicable technology available in the ITRI bank.
The Challenge: How might we speed up how innovators acquire cross-domain knowledge and inspiration and provide relevant technology assets.

The Solution: Utilize machine learning to systematically identify information in data that are meaningful to designers/engineers, or "seeds," to build an algorithm able to perform efficient data screening in various domain databases.
